There’s no better way to spend a summer weekend than out in the fields with the whole family, baskets in hand, picking strawberries straight off the vine — and this weekend is shaping up to be one of the best yet.
Our Pick-Your-Own Strawberry Patch is open daily from 8am to 6pm (last entry 5:30pm), and the berries are plentiful right now. With a great stretch of weather ahead, there’s truly no excuse not to get out and fill a basket or two.
Where to Find Us This Year
Please note: our strawberry patch has moved to a new location for this season. You’ll now find us at 351 German School Road, Paris — right next to the farm market, so you can pick your berries and then wander over to grab a coffee, browse the market, or let the kids loose at the Play Patch all in one visit.
What It Costs
- $4 per litre
- A minimum of 1 litre per person is required
- Don’t have your own containers? Picking baskets are available on-site for $0.50/L
- We accept cash, debit, and credit
Why This Weekend Is a Great Time to Go
The fields are full and the berries are sweet — picking season moves fast, and the best-looking rows tend to get picked over as the weeks go on. Getting out early in the season means more selection, riper berries, and rows that haven’t been picked through yet. If you’ve been putting off your visit, this weekend is the one to mark on the calendar.
What to Bring
- A water bottle — it’s thirsty work out in the sun
- Sunscreen and a hat
- Your own picking baskets, if you have them — they must clearly show the volume in litres (no bowls or Tupperware-style containers, please)
A Few Friendly Reminders
- Pets aren’t permitted in the fields, to keep things clean and comfortable for all our guests
- No smoking or vaping anywhere on the farm
