Ready for a beautiful day in the orchard?  Before you head out, here are a few things to know to make your apple picking experience easy, fun and enjoyable for everyone.

Things to Know

• Apple varieties and availability change throughout the season
• Picking conditions can change daily, so check our social media, or give us a call if your looking for a specific variety
• Wear comfortable, you’ll be walking through the orchard
• Bring sunscreen, hats, and water, especially on warm days
• Our apples are sold by the bag, please check in before heading to the orchard
• Come hungry!!  Be sure to visit the store for all your favourite fall Brantwood Farm treats!

Tips and Tricks

• Look for apples with good colour and gently twist and list to pick.  Please don’t pull or shake the branches.  We like to say ‘Eye to the Sky’
• Bring one of our wagons or your stroller for little ones if needed, but keep in mind the orchard terrain can be uneven
• Pick only what you purchased
• Take your time, explore the rows and make some memories
• Weekday and early mornings can be a great time to enjoy a quieter orchard experience

Farm Rules

• Pick only in open rows.  Rows blocked off are not yet ready for picking
• Pets welcome. Please keep on a leash and clean up after them.
• No snacking in the orchard. You can snack on your freshly picked apples after you have finished picking and have left the orchard.
• No climbing of the trees
• Brantwood Farms is a smoke and vape free property
